Introducing Andrew Jones Butchers in Huddersfield & Brighouse...
The best pork pies and sausages are to be found in Huddersfield & Brighouse and that's official!!
Our champion butcher Andrew Jones has recently won a GOLD AWARD for his Figit Pie at the Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards 2007.
He also won the "Readers Award" for the best pork pies in Yorkshire in the YORKSHIRE POST TASTE AWARDS 2006.
Andrew also became SAUSAGE & MASH CLASH CHAMPION 2005. As part of British Sausage Appreciation Week 2005, Andrew was crowned best bangers and mash cook in the North by Great British Battle Axe and sausage aficionado Christine Hamilton.
Andrew has also been Pork Pie Champion several times in recent years at the Annual Pork Pie Appreciation Society Awards, held annually at the Old Bridge Inn at Ripponden, West Yorkshire.
Andrew has been producing quality meat products for over 18 years and has been winning awards for most of these years. The list is endless, but prove his consistency at producing the best pies and pasties around. He was also Cornish Pasty Champion in a contest run by the National Federation of Meat and Food Traders in July 2001.
Jones Butchers are a traditional butchers enterprise consisting of two shops, one in Marsh, Huddersfield and the other in the centre of Brighouse, both in West Yorkshire, offering top quality meat and poultry, but most of all, value for money. Unlike most supermarkets' meat that can suffer up to 60% shrinkage when cooked, our meat will only lose between 2-3%. The reason is that we only use top quality meat selected from the finest local Yorkshire suppliers. We can still supply you with traditional cuts that no longer appear on the shelves of the larger suppliers.
We specialise in Pies and Pasties as we believe we produce the finest in the country, and our awards speak for themselves! But we also supply cooked meats, homemade sausages (both thick & thin), barbeque meats, bacon, ham, traditional black puddings, even game in season.
We want ALL our customers to be satisfied customers, so why not give us a try today?
